"Gaspode had a way of turning up silently like a small puff of methane in a crowded room, and with the latter’s distressing ability to fill up all available space."Okay, its not October, but thought I'd do a few more Discworld ink drawings and pretend I was more productive last Inktober.... so shhhh! It's our little secret.
Today it's Gaspode the wonder dog... discworld's talking dog and roaming flea sack. The drawing ended up looking far more like a very scruffy version of my own dog than how I quite envisage Gaspode, but I love my dog so much I didn't really mind
Pen and ink... and fleas.

Oh, gosh, I love this! Gaspode is one of my favourite characters! Even though, to quote Chevy Chase over-voicing the "Oh Heavenly Dog"..., which I think was also referenced, deliberately or not, in 'Lilo and Stitch"..., "Also cute and fluffy!" Bark! Bark!

Inktober has come early this year, that's all! There are just so many Pratchett characters, you can do this
challenge for a couple of years running. No one will be the wiser of when you start!

Hehehe! It's the perfect excuse, logical and reasonable. It just means you can work on these
characters anytime you please and pass them off as Inktober. (And there will be still enough
characters left over for when Inktober is actually running!

I think anything Diskworld you make should be a round the year thing. I loved the books and I never saw any illustration matching the book as well as these things you are doing. They capture the spirit of the book in both humor and artistry.
