Friend got a groovy top a while back and it was the inspiration for this piece. Wanted to do one of those airport lounge style book covers for a while and this is my attempt. Pencil sketch, scanned in and painted in photoshop. About 4 days.Related content

Punning is always welcome - its almost a sport in my family!
I've illustrated a few kids books over here in Australia, done work for advertising agencies, kids magazines and design houses etc. Most of the stuff I have up on DA is my personal 'for-the-fun-of-it' projects though, including this one.

! Hey, I like shoes too - particularly like the way light works on the leather - its why I have so much fun painting them. Did a painting recently for a book cover where I spent one whole, pleasurable day, painting a single army boot.

Lol! You're probably right! Last time I was at the airport they opened my suitcase in front of me and went through every single item - and wanted to know why I had a table tennis bat in my luggage! Dangerous things to have in a cargo hold I'm led to believe!
