You know Dave, as much as I gave you crap about the veins on tarzan, this is the only reason I did so...because you're friggen awesome, and I love seeing this level of detail, how much it fits, how much care went into it, and the pure awesome style you have.
I've been on DA for the better part of 8 years and this has got to be one of my favorite images i've seen. I love her expression, the almost vector like details in the glasses, the flare of color and shapes in her shirt, the way you put together the "Kitty" at the bottom...well I don't want to leave a wall of text, but i'm going to simply say:

Yup - nowadays I do all my colour work in photoshop, though one of these days I'm going to have to break out the old paint and brushes again - I think they are still in a box somewhere... might even still have my old airbrush in there somewhere.

They were based on my friends boots - unfortunately the stitching on the back started coming undone and she cant wear them anymore. They sit in my costume cupboard now as reference for when I want to paint nice black boots
