Seriously, awesome picture, you've some fantastic ability. I could go through a bunch of stuff I like about it (the glases, the texture on the boot soles and so on), but my favorite bit of the whole thing is the pose. It fits so well with the title, like a cat lounging on a TV set or something.

Brilliant work! At first glance it seems like a photo, because of the shoes (<3) hat and glasses, but if you look at it from full view, you make out more details that show it's not a photo. Bravo! *clapclapclap* Do you use photoshop?

Thanks ma'am, glad you like! The process I used for this (and practically all my work now days) - pencil sketch on paper, scanned in and then painted in photoshop.

Pencil sketch on paper, painted in photoshop using a mouse. Tried a pen tablet many years ago, back when there was an annoying lag between hand movement and what happened on screen. That annoyed me, so I learnt to paint with the mouse - Plan to use a Cintiq at some stage, but am currently happy with just the mouse.
