Description The first of 4 Modesty covers for me this year with a closer view of Modesty thrown in for good measure...the issue just hit the streets so it should be okay to post the artwork.

You know, I almost wish I could find some flaw in your technique so I could say - well, he's not that good....but, dammit, your work is just bloody terrific!!Β  I'm choosing this piece to comment on, because I'm a Modesty Blaise fan (the strips, most of which I have, and the novels, when I can get them) and you've really got her here! Aww, thanks for the kind words... I was/am a big fan of the novels and discovered the strips much later on. Now put that hat back on or your head will get cold!

I dont use a wacom - do all my digital painting with a mouse. I tried a wacom tablet many years ago, but the lag time between hand movement and what happened on the screen was so annoying at the time, I just stuck to using a mouse and now I'm really quite used to it!

I love modesty and Romero is a legend! He drew her for something like a total of 23 years, so it was an honour to work on this cover
