Description
Modesty Blaise Cover for 'the Gallows Bird' story in the Swedish Magazine Agent X9. Left a fair amount of blank space for extra tags and headers for this issue.I remember this one being a little rushed coz of the work load at the time, but I thought it came up okay on the printed version anyway.
Pencil sketch, painted in photoshop.
Oh, and Modesty didn't really die in this issue - just in case someone out there was concerned

Glad you like this one... and I would love to see a movie, or even better, a series on someplace like HBO.
Cheers!

I remember that story, the villainess in the front of the cover was trying to blow up the dams of New Orleans (it's from the late 70's).
The way Modesty escapes from this particular death trap could have only come from Mr. O'Donnell's mind!
It's been over a decade since any new story, in any kind of media, has come out...
Miss you MODESTY!
Thanks man.

Another great layout
I usually don't like making comparison... but the face in front makes me think of Philip Castle

Multiple deadlines that pile up on each other are definitely no fun - but they do make one work harder and be more efficient sometimes
Cheers my fabulous friend!

When I die, I'm going to come back and watch over your shoulder as you do your art work.
Ps, the lower left character convinces me that you've had a stroll through my highschool.

Not for the first time, but I am kind of worried about what kind of high school you went to
Try to avoid having dead things sitting on my shoulder while I paint where I can- its both uncomfortable and makes it harder to put a sheep on my head [link]

I thought everyone's highschool was like that.
And I was going to say something about only being there in spirit, but I din't want to get thrown out of your watcher's list.
