Only learned this with your piece, Dave... I first learned of Moebius' work through the pages of Heavy Metal, which I purchased nearly from the beginning of the U.S. edition, back in High School, and I was always most impressed (and influenced) by his wildly wonderful work. Your tribute piece shows just how much his work meant to you. Beautiful, the ghostly rider Arzak, flying off...

Sorry to be a bearer of such bad news . His sequential work was fascinating and wonderful, but I loved his single image stuff even more.. sometimes felt like there was a thousand stories locked away in a single piece of work and it would be up to my own imagination to fill them out. Totally inspiring stuff!
