I think it would be hard to find a current sci fi or fantasy artist who, in some way, however small, wasnt influenced by his artwork. RIP Moebius! touching tribute! thank you for sharing!

A sad day, I didn't know until I saw this. He has been one of my favorite comic artists and I always loved his imagination and how his pictures could reveal new little details months after you first looked at them. Thanks for taking the time to tell the community, I appreciate it although the content saddens me somewhat.

My God! Unfortunately in my country, Brazil, only recently the art of this great artist is finally getting our hands ... for a steep price.
Praise the great artist, at that moment he is in unraveling the mysteries of other worlds beyond human comprehension mounted on giant birds (and just to see, smell bad Ikrans)

Fortunately for me, his artwork has been available here in Australia for as long as I can remember and was able to be inspired by it since I was young. Sometimes hard to chase down nowadays, but definitely worth it in the end.

He made designs for Tron back in 1982 and called his daughter Nausika
For me this is enough to feel sad for him although today I've heard about him the 1st time in my life.
I think now he is in a better world like one of those he imagined...

You should get "Brush with Passion: The Art and Life of Dave Stevens." It's a fantastic read, not unless you have it already.
