This is really old and still unfinished, but just wanted to post something as its been awhile since I'm knee deep in catching up with work. Pencil sketch on paper, paint in photoshop.Related content

Could have used her the past 2 weeks. I've been redecorating the house. Though much work wouldn't get done. LOL

Not always, but in this case I did an initial rough sketch and then took a photo of my friend, the beautiful and based the finished drawing somewhat on her.

Thanks my friend! Interestingly enough, I feel I haven't painted enough back of knees, and have a hankering to paint some more. I am a strange and different kind of guy, I know!

There are few tweaks I want to do, but I think I'll leave the pencils still showing in place - kind of happy with the result and got so many other pieces I need to work on!

I love this one! The drawing and rendering are great as usual, but I also love the concept - seeing the underdrawing "behind" the rendering.

I once was having a new Studio built back in 1994, and the builder had a female name (kinda like John Wayne had a female name "Marion") a n y w a y s - long story short, I did this during that time [link]

hmmm...maybe thats why i like this piece so much. really warm tones, grainy shadows, soft highlights. definitely my favorite piece. a poster would look nice up on my studio wall
