This was a commission I did last year but am just now getting around to posting it. Thought I'd color it up and add some type. Really dig the first movie in the series, and personally I still think it holds up today. Cool movie, not sure about the others.Related content

I'd agree. Starship Troopers (the original) is a good movie. Some people who dislike it fail to see how it is not only a slasher but a movie with rather biting political satire.

And I must say for myself that really the first movie still rocks and holds its own today compared to some other sci-fi that clames to be more advanced.Havent seen the 2nd heard it sucked and I saw the third and IT REALLY SUCKED.Starship Troopers was and still is a good idea and in the future if someone plans to make another movie it must be made really really well or it will continue the other two's shame on this marvelous piece of sci-fi I can watch over and over.Nothing beats Starship Troopers 1

Very much reminds me of the original star wars poster! Really like the colors. Liked the first one Verhooven is the man. I heard the new 3rd was decent. God the sequel was so much cheese and not in the good way.

I loved the first movie! I've been a fan of Paul Verheoven since Robocop and Michael Ironside was terrific as the "grizzled veteran". Beautiful movie poster style work on this. All the highlights really set it off!

Maaannnn, it's been such a long time since I've seen this movie! I remember seeing it in a theatre. Anyway, I love the colors in the B/G, and the little alien. frikkin' sweet.

Great piece, and yes, a great movie. The second one, when taken for what it is (much lower budget sequel with more of a confined "Alien" vibe) is decent, but lacks the satire of the first. The third went a bit over the top with the satire, the arachnid effects are even more cheaply done, but hey, Casper van Dien is back! Again, nice work on the piece, and the added text perfectly captures the feel of the movie.
