You're crazy if you think ya can beat me with them stubby lil legs!Lil Mac and his Pa (Johnny Appleseed) having a friendly(or not so friendly) race back home from the orchard fields
I simplified Johnny's cutiemark and discovered a few new tricks for coloring lineart. Lord, how did I live before I knew what clipping masks were
Headcanon ahead!
Johnny is very close to both of his children, but his relationship with his son is especially playful and competitive. As a child, Lil Macintosh was quite adventurous and precocious, assisting his dad with all manner of farm work and ways to annoy his mother. He's also extremely talkative, like his dad. A truly promising, bright young colt, particularly talented at mathematics, Mac was receiving acceptance letters from top level schools all across Equestria. Though his Pa teases him often about his love of "that fancy book learnin'" he couldn't be more proud of his boy.
All of Mac's promise and hope for the future is crushed the day his father dies.

Learning about clipping masks made it much easier and simpler to vector images(such as eyes and cutie marks) and shade my lineart.
