some notes on earth ponies, the oft under-appreciated third of ponykind
Earth ponies are the strongest and hardiest of all ponies. They are the most widespread, found in every corner of Equestria, from Appleoosa to the Crystal Empire. They are the most traditional ponies, clinging stubbornly to their ideas of hospitality, honesty, and humility. They may be the doofiest little ponies of all.

There is typically one or two stallions in a wild horse herd. He gets followed around by a harem of mares, and he’ll defend them from rival stallions. He sires the foals, but doesn’t lead the herd. It typically goes to the oldest and most experienced mare (lead mare, or boss mare), who has the best knowledge of grazing locations and avoiding danger. A horse herd is matriarchal, like a herd of elephants.

If it’s not painfully obvious by now then I’ll say that I loooove your drawings and headcanons and seeing the finished thing is super awesome and I’m geeking out. I especially love Tree Hugger here and the gorgeous coloring of her and the chakra colors. And as a huge lover of draft horses (though my personal fav are quarter horses) it’s especially delightful to see Applejack being so BUFF and FLUFF yet still being feminine and lovely. And of course I loved seeing my sharknado and pancake babs <3

I like the idea that unique and unconventional magical abilities are an earth pony thing. It gives earth pony characters more options with magic beyond just farming, and relentlessly bugs unicorn scholars.

This is very well-thought out, and i actually wouldn't mind making an earth ponysona. the one part that gets me is the Celestia harvest part. wouldn't that technically be Luna's domain? then again autumn is showing the fruits of all your hard work after spring starts. it's a little confusing

Nope. Luna is and was (unfortunately) associated with cold nights and brutal winters. Her traitorous plan to cast Equestria in eternal night (which for all everypony knew, would have killed their crops and seen them all starve to death) left a bad taste in the mouth of earth pony subjects. Furthermore, following her banishment, Celestia apparently suppressed any knowledge of Luna ever even existing. Generations of earth ponies grew up knowing only Celestia. To this day, she is the favorite princess among earth pony farming families (though Luna has been growing in popularity following her return)

well holy hell! i hope she does get to take her place one day. Autumn was their favorite season now that i remember. Can't believe Celestia suppressed any info. but then again, it's just like the first episode, no one knew who Luna was, not even Twilight knew.

That would have made Luna's return pretty awkward. How do you explain to your sister you left her treason and banishment in the history books but spent a millennium pretending you weren't related? How do you explain to your subjects that the terrifying ancient evil, so dangerous that you banished it to the moon, is actually the sister you never mentioned, and her return is a good thing?

I think in the first few episodes, Twilight is the only one who even knows about Nightmare Moon. When she reads the prophecy of her return and sends a panicked letter to Celestia, Celestia dismisses it as a fairy tale. This implies Celestia covered up all traces of Luna- her treason, Nightmare Moon, every bit of evidence she ever even existed. Twilight is shocked at the reveal that Luna is Celestia's sister.
...Then again, ponies celebrate Nightmare Night, and it's implied it's a yearly holiday. There's even a spooky statue of Nightmare Moon. So I guess ponies did know about Nightmare Moon? Or maybe they didn't know her true identity, and only thought of her as a boogeyman for children. Maybe the ponies initially celebrated Luna's return, but eventually put the pieces together that she and Nightmare Moon were one in the same, and came to fear her again. Idk, the show's lore can be kinda inconsistent.
I headcanon that earth ponies are wary of Luna. They value humility and family, so a princess that attempted to murder her sister because she wasn't getting enough adoration ain't gonna sit with them too well.

Even if Celestia didn't cover up everything, I can see a lot of details getting confused and misunderstood, and the whole Nightmare Moon thing being taken for a myth.
And Luna's worshipped by some of those scary, sharp-toothed bat ponies. Yeah, there's a lot of things that wouldn't sit well with earth ponies.

So is there a reason why Bruce has fangs? Is he aligned with some kind of water magic or has a siren or something mixed into his ancestry?

Bruce is aligned with Ocean magic, and it's very likely his mother has some merpony in her ancestry. Merponies are omnivorous and have sharp canine teeth.
Besides that though, Bruce is from Oatstralia, a hot and arid land. Since vegetation there is so sparse, ponies there have evolved to eat more fish and meat to supplement their diet. Hence the pointy teef. All ponies have canine teeth (even horses irl have them), but they're much more blunt and underdeveloped in populations that stick to eating plant matter.

I just thought of something:
On the day that Pinkie Pie got her cutie mark, she was caught in the blast of Rainbow dash's first Sonic Rainboom, which made her made her mane all puffy... but what if it went beyond that? What if Pinkie is able to warp reality and sense the future because she was irradiated by the Sonic Rainboom?
I mean, it stands to reason; as far as we know, she's the only earth pony who exhibits these supernatural abilities, and she was the only pony caught within the blast, as the rest of her family was indoors at the time. So perhaps the powerful positive energies of the Rainboom supercharged her cells, allowing her to perform uncanny feats of agility, as well as supernatural miracles, like twisting her mane into a drill capable of tunneling through solid stone, or summoning random objects from thin air.

Didn't you do something on zebra's too a while back? (Something about Zecora being a grassland zebra and Buck's wife being a mountain zebra I think) If not then I'd love to see something like this on zebras and/or on those Saddle Arabian ponies/horses we saw in "Magic Duel". Basically I just want to see your headcannons for everything, because your imagination and thoroughness is amazing.

Yup! Cupcake has her own supernatural intuition (though it's different and weaker than Pinkie's), and Chakra really could perceive aura if he didn't dismiss it as a load of crock (though it does possibly factor into how he's so perceptive and manipulative).
