Well OBVIOUSLY Cupcake has a crush on her BEST FRIEND and so she wants to marry her and be in HER FAMILY and Cadence IS technically FAMILY cause Shining Armor which is related to Twilight which is the mother of HER GAY BEST FRIEND CRUSH and she wants to be FAMILY SO BAD SHE LIKES CADENCE AS BEST PRINCESS BEACAUSE SHE INCREASES EVEN MORE FAMILY LEVELS DONT AT ME

I'm going to take a shot and say moondance likes celestia because she is the most revered like he wants to be.
Pandora likes Luna because she is probably still a bit misunderstood and different like pandora herself.
Cupcake likes cadence because unlike the other two who hold incredible power of the moon and sun cadence gets her power from the concept of love which she admires. She doesnt necessarily use incredible might like the sun but would rather use love to finish a problem.

Ohhh, I would love to see the relationship had between Pandora and Princess Luna. It would make sense for Panny to relate to Luna for how she was ostracised and demonised by her own people she was trying to lead. They took different paths but I wonder if a comforting conversation went down between Luna and Panny after her failed coronation.Β
