This made me think of playing 65daysofstatic - Debutante, it has a streaking through the universe feel (play the song here).....Starting off with twinkling gems in the blackness of space, all of a sudden when the music hits we see a sudden twinkle i the sky. Β Shooting by is a comet powering though space, passing by back holes, quasar and star systems.Β As we are brought closer to this light, we think the glow is almost to bright to keep our eyes focused on but cannot help stare at the beauty drawing us in. Β Then the brightness softens revealing the Unicorn, its energy radiating all around as it powers through the stars, on a journey to a place that very-much needs it's light to shine.Β It enters our solar system passes Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and then Earth. Β It hits earths atmosphere with a flash of fire and turbulence, but moves on.Β Β Creatures in forests surrounding a mountian lookup to see the ball of fire change from orange, blue then to white, at the same moment as a circle of sound wave ripples the sky from the sonic boom, the comet finally reaches it's destination by making a small crater in the tip of a mountain......from the dust and debris settle the Unicorn stands tall and, like love and strength of nature coming to life.
Beautiful painting, I think there is not on piece of your art minds eye that I have not loved yet.Β Β

I believe she was referring to the painting, and not a comet as an object. The [painting called 'comet'] is of a falling Angel. The title, comet, may have been derived from the visual similarity to a comet. I think there is no intended, direct implication between comets and falling angels.
