Okay, first off, I don't like Star Wars Resistance. I kept feeling like the show was trying to take a serious tone the entire time, but trying to remain child friendly at the same time. There is also (I feel) zero world building going on the entire time while the series focus on a new resistance "spy" investigating rumored first order activities on a refueling station/race track, and doing a worse job keeping his cover than Johnny English . If you are going to make a fun kids show, then cool, but why the heck would you focus the plot on the rise of the First Order and also have it happen during episode 7 and 8? And the animation... ugh.

But the one nugget that I did like about it was that Tamara Ryvora who abandoned the resistance group after being lied about it and joined the First Order. Of course the predictable flip back occurred, but it was finally, finally something juicy and cool. A diamond in a steaming pile of crap. I wish she had stayed with the First Order because it made season 2 so much better to watch, it matured the show in a way and kept the childish, funny aspect in some sections. She was also seriously the only competent, intelligent, and kick-ass member of the ENTIRE cast.

I wish, again, that there was some more world building, some experience on what it was like to live on a First Order Star Destroyer (which I know what happens in canon on those and none of it actually happened). I also wish there was that "Oh yeah, the First Order is the bad guys, but not all of them are mind numbing, raging psychopaths, but some truly want to bring peace and order to the galaxy" part where it showed some benifits and some good reasoning behind the First Order.

They did do it for the Empire. It was pointed out quite bluntly that the Empire suppressed much of the pirate and black market organizations, and with the New Republic, they were not as well controlled and many systems had huge problems that the New Republic was unable to address with it's 90% demilitarization actions. Sounds political imho.

Anyways, this was made to honor the idea that I was truly hoping for Tamara. That she would have been First Order and there would be a massive dog fight with her being a villain in the end. I so love stories when Heroes fall.

This was also made with Sketchbook Pro (full version)and using my new iPad Pro 11. I am still getting use to it and reteaching myself how to draw. So a few of my later drawings will come out kind rough.
