Hello there everyone.

It has been a long time since I put something up on here.
And for once I'm not coming back with a Star Wars themed image, but with one of my very own world.

Here is Carry Victoria, main character of the novel I wrote a few years ago. I am currently thinking of rewriting it in English (the original was in French obviously). For those who follow me, the prologue (in English) is already in my gallery somewhere.
It will take a while to rewrite the whole thing as English is not my native language but I believe I am fluent enough to do a good enough job at it.

Now just a quick description of Carry. She is a young woman with French origins, special agent with the FBI where she takes care of "unconventional" cases.
She is rather short and skinny, but what makes her interesting are her pale skin, jet black hair and naturally bright purple eyes.
Of course there is way more to her than what I am telling you here, but you'll have to find out while reading the story as I slowly put it up here.

Now onto the image itself and technical details.
As always, it was drawn and painted in Photoshop.
For once, I decided to go for a quite desaturated look. I usually use sharp colors with high contrasts, which some people love in my art, and others not so much. I also went with a very monochromatic feel, the picture being mostly black and grey with hints of colors so it's not totally black and white.
I'm pretty happy with the result, but I'll let you guys tell me what you think of it.

Photoshop CS3, Wacom Intuos2 9x12 tablet, about 7 hours of actual work divided in many days.
