Description
An artwork commissioned for the currently being developed tabletop roleplaying-game titled SOUL, over atΒ www.oldcowboygames.comBe sure to stay posted there, as the latest iteration is currently being worked on with plenty of new artwork in there.
The Idea was to create a ringworld-city somewhere in space, with a darker, moodier atmosphere with some Cyberpunk influences in there.

Now there's a thought. Is it safe to presume this ringworld is not a stationary installation, but is a starship that actively moves around?
Curious since looking at the moons, it would seem to be a rather perilous orbit for a station.

No wonder. With the music and all, there is something about that shot which distills the fundamentals of space travel in ST. Not so much the how, but the why.
A ship may be made of oak or teak, fiberglass or steel, plasteel or transparent Aluminium in the case of ST - but a ship's components aren't necessarily the same thing as what a ship is.
