Description
Boom, I'm back from the dead! Woohoo!Sorry I've been away for a few months, but a combination of artist's block and real-life happenings put things on hold. Anyway: here're some fresh redesigns, colored sketches and headcanon drabbles- even a few new ones based on the licensed IZ comic series. Enjoy!

Headcanon overflow:
•Much of Irk's history remains shrouded in secrecy. Though it is widely accepted they are among one of the oldest races in the galaxy, little information remains on ancient, pre-spacefaring Irkens - called "Noyng" by some historians - and their culture. Many high-ranking Empire officials would have you believe they were shorter, dumber and uglier than modern-day Irkens...however, the reverse is actually true.
•Following the loss of his original body and subsequent defeat on planet Dooq (IZ Issue #25) quadrillionaire tech genius and criminal mastermind Fitzoo-Menga remained confined to a custom-built PAK attached to a couch when he was picked up by aspiring merchants. He continued to operate through a number of chair or sofa-themed bodies, terrorizing department stores throughout the cosmos. He later led a cyberattack on Irken-controlled Vort in an attempt to seize the Universe's Most Comfortable Couch. Despite their past transgressions, Virooz still views Zim as his idol, and considers himself his greatest (albeit non-corporeal) fan.
•Prior to his ascension, Spork was Tallest Miyuki's top military advisor. It was he who first proposed the idea for Operation: Impending Doom, which Miyuki supported after heavy revision. Following his predecessor's departure, Spork oversaw the redeployment of the Irken Elite and intended to groom Red and Purple as his proteges. Of course, this would never come to pass as Spork himself suddenly vanished before any plans were drawn.
•Irken Control Brains may occasionally conduct experiments on populated worlds to research potential societal developments. For example: Changing the lighting color or frequency on public fixtures, lacing the snack rations and water supply with different chemical compounds to promote certain behavioral patterns, "planned" power or utility failures for entire residential districts, etc.
•The main ingredient in Super Toast is derived from an Irken-based nutrient supplement distributed to the Tallest to help support their altered physiology. Membrane developed it to help an ailing colleague many years ago, and later marketed it to the general public.
•Tak's holographic disguise is unauthorized hardware jury-rigged from a downed stealth drone recovered from Planet Dirt. It reacts strangely with her PAK-to-brain interface - specifically the parts that process emotion. Though the device has no visible negative effects on her health, it may short out if she becomes flustered or irritated. To compensate, she developed her brain augmentation to re-write or erase memories of potential observers, though such practices are officially outlawed by the Empire.
•Every December, the Santa nanosuit created by Zim returns to prey on those who reject the holiday spirit. Professor Membrane has taken to challenging it as a "Christmas tradition" of sorts. Their fights are broadcasted on national television and various online streaming services, with a hotline set up by Membrane Labs that accepts donations to provide amenities for needy families around the globe. Zim would later collaborate with the Professor to construct energy domes to protect urban areas from "too much" collateral damage.
•Unbeknownst to any of the main characters, Miss Bitters has supernatural abilities derived from a cosmic horror of Zim's own design. Indeed, her reality and memory-warping capabilities seem consistent with an energy experiment thought to have been destroyed long ago. How it ended up on Earth, and took the form of a jaded schoolteacher is anyone's guess...

Thanks! I was always disappointed we never got to see Membrane take on the Santa monster in the Christmas special, so I decided to incorporate it into my fanonverse drabbles. The undefeated science-hero of mankind needs an archenemy, am I right?
