When I first saw this, I honestly thought that it was just another piece of smashed up characters from different franchisees. However, I can't express how wrong I was about it. This pace is an absolute masterpiece of well drawn figures that most, if not all video game nerds such as myself, can recognize at first glance. The vision behind this is something I absolutely love (no homo)! never had I thought about putting so many characters of famous movies video games and who knows what else into one major collection of pure awesomeness.
With this said, the originality of this is a solid 4.5/5 stars. While wanting to be fair to the artist, I know that a few other artist on other websites have done similar ideas where they put a lot of video game characters into their own single portrayal of the video game world. This would have earned you, my dear artist, a solid 3/5 stars. However, The depth of which you had gone through is what raised my rating for originality to a solid 4.5/5 stars. I do hope that the only reason I don't give you a full 5/5 stars is simply because other people have done something similar to this.
The same can be said for the technique. for this part of my explanation, I shall simply point out that other people have done this as well. while yours is along the others at the very top, I do have to note (much as I really don't want to and just give Technique a 5/5 stars) that a lot of the same people who I have mentioned above in my previous part have also done the same thing where they put the most recognizable characters towards the front, and the bigger things in the back of the piece. A video that comes into mind while thinking about this is the Borderlands 2 trailer, where all the Bad Guys you encounter in the game run towards the main cast. I highly recommend you, the reader, to view this video as you'll understand my context.
With this being said, the impact is absolutely deserving of a 5/5 star rating. the way that in you have captured the moment of so many villains running towards a unforeseen center results in my own imagination conjuring up the image of an equal force of Video Game good guys and what not to meet the challenge of the Ultimate Battle.
All in all, an absolutely amazing job, one that I was not expecting to see today. this piece had truly blown mine mind when I first saw this. Truly, this is now one of my few favorite pieces on this website, though I shall assume from reading the top two comments that most everyone will agree that this is the definition of pure awesomeness and will also be along their top favorites as well. With this being stated, I hope that you, the artist, and for the people reading this, will find this review and just. Personally, I would have just rated this 5/5 stars, but I wanted to give the artist a critique of possible ideas that might have not occurred while in the process of making this.
