Description
Decided to try a new way of doing photographs of my Warhammer miniatures. Here's one of them: A Necron Cryptek on Canoptek Cloak for Warhammer 40,000 from the Necron army. Please comment on photos, layout and the way it has been painted.

You could say I never stopped. Thank you.
I've got more Necrons in the works, soon to be completed early next year by my estimation.

Indeed. It has been so long time since the last time I played those games....

My most recent game was this Saturday just gone. My Necrons vs Chaos Space Marines. By the end of the game I had lost seven models, would have been more but Necrons don't tend to stay dead as they can resurrect. The Chaos army however... well... all dead.

Yep, Necrons are easy to kill, but easy to be resurrected with lucky roll of dice. :/
Now that got me remembering my Space Marines's victory against Chaos and it's a big 2000pt game. I was lucky to have taken out Chaos Marines's LandRaider, Basilisk and Predator on the first turn. The Chaos leader riding on motorcycle wiped an entire squad but one who happens to have powerfist and that killed him.

It depends on the army and who is playing them. Sometimes they can die easily or be very hard to get off the board. But usually it's the dice gods that decide in the end.
Sounds like it was a fun game. The first turn always seems to be vital as it seems to show which way the game goes. Along with all those dice rolls of course.

We once tried a realtime way of playing the game. We take turns moving one unit at a time and it was quite interesting.

You could give it a try. One player Move an unit and then take action (shooting). Other other player does the same for one unit. Repeat using the marks to mark those that already have been moved.

Very interesting. I think other tabletop systems do something similar, but I'm not sure of which ones do.

There seem to be quite a wide variety of tabletop games out there.

Indeed. But I mainly concentrate on Warhammer myself.
