Here's a piece from a project I was workin on a little bit ago.I kept over-thinking the background for some reason untill I just started thinking in a more abstract, design-oriented way and poof!!! There it was! This was done as a tribute to the TMNT after hearing they've been sold to nickolodian.
So I hope you dig.

Leo's my favorite because he's the most Shinobi-like so he gets the coolest pose by default!
Don was always my 2nd fav. So I always put extra thought into him and his design/pose.

I grew up on the TMNT in all 3 forms comic, original cartoon and movie. I really liked the more martial arts related aspects(Ninjitsu)of the group as much as the brotherhood aspect. When I was a kid, my brother, best friend and I would play the "Ongoing Adventures" almost like a day to day series in real time with our figures and we all agreed that they'd all progress differently with Leo being the most ninja-like.
