I think that Ed is a homunculus in Brotherhood because he took away all of Pride's souls without the huge soul dispersment that Father had and even said that he used himself as a Philosipher's Stone.

The only reason ed was able to use himself as a philosohers stone was because he is special, which is inherited from his immortal father, which was why the two (brothers) were able to survive so long. Hoped that helpsn ><

That still doesn't explain how Ed managed to get rid of Pride's souls without a large amount of them seen going away, if only for an instant.

Ed was never a homunculus in Brotherhood. This is from Bluebirds Illusion which was a fan made game. It was created before the known existence of Pride in the manga so they created Pride Edward for the game. The scenario is that Edward was killed by King Bradley and Father used his body as a vessel for the new Pride which didn't exist up to that point.

I know that, I just thought that it made sense because it was obvious that there were a lot of souls inside Pride, but they never went out, so where do you think they went? Into Ed's body, essentially making him a homunculus.

The souls inside Pride just disappeared because Pride was already running low on energy anyway. He couldn't regenerate because of him being the medium to forcefully open the gate for Roy so he can be sacrifice. <_<

But there were at least dozens of souls still in him when the Ed crushed the soul of Pride happened and none of them were seen disappearing. All of the souls left Pride's body after that happened and I still saw not one go away.

That's because they're still on Pride. The fetus that later on grows up as Selim in the ending.
If all the souls disappear then Selim is dead.
