For 's contest to drawing a moving moment from the FMA series.

Edit: rewriting my artist's comments because when I first wrote it it was 3am and I was half dead and this was impossible to understand.

Anyways, I had difficulty in picking a scene, as I can imagine most people would. FMA is a series filled with so many heartwrenching, tear jerking, and/or heartwarming moments and it's hard to decide on the one you want to portray the most.

I toyed with a lot of ideas. I wanted to draw something happy like the ending, but I couldn't figure out a good way to put it on paper (Digital canvas, whatever). I thought about the entire Nina incident, Hughe's Funeral, when Ed was ready to die by Scar's hand...as well as scenes that were really powerful to me specifically on a personal level. Like when Ed told Rose to get up and walk forward, or the entire little section about the girl who brought her dead cat to Izumi hoping to have her dear little friend back.

In the end though, I decided to go back to one thing that really tugged at my heartstrings above all else. Edward's desperate attempt to bring his little brother back. I think this scene is an amazing example of just how strong of a bond these two share, both of whom are willing to throw away everything to save the other.

Now, I'm not sure what happened to the style here. I did it in a sort of chronology because I felt it was the best way to portray what was going on. In terms of linearting, colouring and shading...I have no idea wth happened with the Ed face on the right. It looks good though, so whatever.
