Why does everyone hate the fish on shark tale? They're not that bad! I like them! They look nice and I find them clever.

Shark Tale is a great movie, watch the commentary and get a better insight of it. I died laughing at the commentary XD

not hating on them, i just think there's something vaguely nightmare inducing about the way they're done lol
seriously look at Oscar for instance; it looks like they just morphed Will Smith's face onto a fish and his mouth looks like something straight outta Styx
the sharks look great though, it's just the fishes that gives me the creeps..... but to their defense i gotta admit they're fun to draw. no regrets designing this guy lol
yeah i think i've done that once already, but a long time ago. Movie commentaries are really fun to watch, unless it's just the stiff director sitting behind the mic and blabbers to himself
i think Shark Tale is a pretty weird movie. It's ok and i actuallly like it a lot, but at the same time pretty weird and there's some logic flaws, buuut they get away with it since it's about talking motherfucking fishes living in an underwater city and got Robert DeNiro voicing the sharkfather lol!

yep KFP is without a doubt one of their best movies
but nothing they do these days will ever be comparable with Spirit and The Road to El Dorado <3
Shark Tale is imo one of their.... weirdest movies really (but they're outdone by far by Bee Movie *shudders*). It's got some pretty great moments and i think it's pretty ok, but yeah.... it's weird
really just wanted to design a character because a friend of mine is currently obsessing over it and she's infected me pretty much lol
