Welcome to the official wiki for Red World, an alternative history modification for Hearts of Iron IV that questions what could have happened to the world if the Soviets won the Cold War.

Red World's alternate timeline diverges from real world history at the beginning of the Korean War. The mod is set in 2010, and 23 years have passed since the collapse of the United States in 1987 under President Ronald Reagan. Since then the world has stabilised and the Soviet world order appears as strong as ever. But with Moscow's complacency and arrogance getting the better of them, any unexpected event could easily break the status quo and thrust countless other nations into the spotlight, to bring an end to the world's sole superpower.
