Y/N: (POV)

*It slowly starts to sink in that the girl of your dreams was standing right in front of you for what felt like a lifetime but was only a matter of minutes… You begin to take into account that you may never see this girl again. You’re starting to make your way back to the merchants stall when all of a sudden you hear some nearby players panicking, “Where the hell’s the log out button?” “Dude I have soccer practice soon, Coach will kick my ass if I miss it”. In disbelief, you check your menu only to find that there really is no logout option.

Y/N: What the hell? Surely it's just a bug… Surely.

*All of a sudden you appear in the same place you started, Looking left and right you see more and more players appearing before you.*

Y/N: What’s going on? Why am I back here? Are the servers shutting down? Well, there goes all the fun, back to my miserable, boring life.

*All of a sudden you notice the dark-haired boy and his fiery friend instantaneously appear in front of you, but out of the corner of your eye you see a hooded figure, You don’t hesitate to call out to who you believe is... Asuna*

Y/N: “HEY ASUNA! Why’d you run off before?”

*As you reach out to pull off her hood, your fingertips barely graze the smooth cloth fabric as she turns around and you’re soon to realize it isn’t even her, it’s a short pink haired girl wielding a small hammer with a low strung tool belt around her waist.”

Y/N: “Uh.. Uh.. I’m incredibly sorry, I.. I thought you were someone else..”

*You turn around in disappointment, and before you get any time to think the sky above you turns blood red and a large figure seeps in through the cracks of the games interface and announces the devastating truth about the intentions of SAO*

???: “Attention, Players. I welcome you to my world”.

Y/N: What the hell is this? Is this part of the game?

Kayaba: My name is Akihiko Kayaba, and as of this moment, I am in control of this world.

Y/N: Control? What does he mean by he is in control of this world? I get that he’s the creator and all but what does it mean?

Kayaba: I'm sure most of you have already noticed an item missing from your main menus... the log out button. Let me assure you, this is not a defect in the game. I repeat this is not a defect. This is how "Sword Art Online" was designed to be.

Y/N: *You start to drift and daydream, completely zoning out and not hearing a word Kayaba is saying, You start to stress, grabbing at your hair and scratching down your face*

Y/N: S… So this means I’m stuck here? Oh god! I’m going to die inside a virtual world, AND I HAVENT EVEN KISSED A GOD DAMN GIRL YET!

Y/N: *You come back to realization as Kayaba mentions he has placed a little present in each players storage, You open your storage and are completely baffled by the item*

Y/N: A mirror? Why would he give us a mirror?

Y/N: *You gaze into the mirror and slowly start to see the masculine hunk of an avatar you created slowly fade back into your real self.*

Y/N: “How the hell am I meant to meet a girl looking like this!!!”

??: “Well I think you look pretty cute…”

Y/N: Wait who was tha…

*You turn around and before you stands*
