A Postal Pete movie is looooong overdue. Β The Blue's are a family that lives in a holler in eastern Kentucky.Β They are at one of the highest and hardest to reach parts of the hills and have kept to themselves, literally.Β They do go hunting for meat at times, though.Β Their transparent skin is a result of years of inbreeding.Β

If postal Pete where in a movie, the tagline would probably make a joke about him "going postal" I would expect. Where'd he get that sickle? I've always suspected Mailmen of being part of the secret communist conspiracy, but I didn't expect to see this theory reflected here.

Though their coloration is similar and they both have Blue in their names, they are quite different.
Morris Bluelevel is a resurrected construction worker.Β His skin is dried out with concrete powder and somewhat decomposing.Β The name just comes from a friend of mine (well, her porn name anyway).Β Her first pet was Morris and she lived on Bluelevel Road.Β
The Blues are the current Pa and Ma of a long line of inbred cannibalistic holler folk.

I have indeed!Β As a life long horror and comic nerd, I was completely stoked to discover that book!Β I only wish it was still running.Β
I had tons of these horror characters pencil sketched and it was finally when I bought and read the first HACK/SLASH trade that I finally inked, scanned and colored all my slasher characters.Β So I am glad to see it brought Cassie and Vlad to mind when you saw them!Β
