Btw the reconquered provinces could be the new home for a "latin melting pot" where the new common language could rise as the lingua franca autochtones & latins settlers ^^

When I think about it, due to the low demography of Austria & Balkans (including Romania), and their high rate of emigration to Germany, these areas lose a lot of people, and could be colonized easily by anyone in the future.
I just hope these areas won't be Neo-Ottomans colonies ^^'

neo-Roman Constantinople would also be interesting, but unfortunately Istanbul is now a very islamized and "neo-middle-eastern-like" city, messy and partly undeveloped, thus it would pretty hard to make it a western city again, but we can try ^^
It would be tremendously frightening had the Balkans to become Neo-Ottoman colonies, I really hope it will never happenΒ Β
but as for Romania the depopulation is mainly due to emigration, so if a powerful panlatin state invested there, the trend might be stopped

Istambul is still the most european city of Turkey from a cultural point of view, people are less conservatives and more open-minded in this city
Well, maybe in long term, but at the sort term Western Latins aren't rich enough for a big economical transfer in favor of Easterns Latins. To be fair, even within the Western LatinitΓ© the cost of southern Spain, Portugal & southern Italia (Corsica could also be included in this big Mezzogiorno) will be high for France, northern Italia, Catalunya and Pais Vasco ^^'
