I haven't been on here - or anywhere else online - lately because of work, too. I'm going to a wedding in Montana in about a week and a day and I still have a lot of stuff to do to get ready. Also I'm saving my vacation time for later in the year so I'm trying to make up for the 4 days I will be out because of the wedding. I can make it up whenever I want, which is nice, but still tiring nonetheless.

It was a lot of fun! Very simple and laid back - they didn't even know what their first dance song was going to be until 5 minutes before they did it!

could have been worse have you heard that song "at last" by etta james.. im sure its a lovely song for some people but shoot they played that at the one i went to hahaha....i think amy grants "good for me" song if ihad a real wedding and not "in a lawyers office lol" wedding its what i would have used ...

I didn't mind it. But OH MY GOD I cannot stand the Etta James version of "At Last". It was actually written by someone else and a lot of singers from that era sang it, but for some reason her (and in my opinion the worst) version is the one that got popular. It sounds like a fanfare. There's no build-up throughout the song at all. She belts out the whole thing from beginning to end. No dynamics at all. She might as well have been yelling it. If that's the reason you don't like it you should listen to the way others sang it. There's much better renditions out there. I hated the song with every fiber of my being before I heard Ella Fitzgerald sing it.
