just wanted to say hi and happy belated birthday LindArtz Linda...enjoy
during this snow storm ...and a few other snow storms i had to spend a few days in a hotel at work...febuary became so tiring not that i didnt like the hotel stays ...just that i wanted to stay home during the storms in my own room and my own bed..darn it...used to be able to .. but not anymore
but i still like winter better than spring...tornado season is just around the corner...

we do now..although it seem there were some before a few years back but last year was bad cause they were actually too close to home..tree fell on our roof but didnt go through it...its what i hate about summer i actually prefer winter now lol....although i always wanted to be a storm chaser and catch a few tornadoes but not like this ...shoot i couldnt have got it no way i was stuck at work...

Thanks for the link. It reminds me a lot of how things went when we had the tornado in my hometown in 2010. No one could prove they saw that one even though there were a lot of claims. It was an F0 or something really small and most of the damage it did was to trees because there just weren't a ton of buildings around. It did destroy a newly-built barn but that was the only entire structure. The tree cleanup lasted several days. You could see the path it took in the woods.

I used to not but lately I've changed my mind. I think it's hard to remember accurately what the weather was like when you're a kid because it's a background thing, but it seems like there's less cold weather. And the science seems to suggest it. Actual observations, not predictions.
