Done with lipstick and food coloring.Thanks to my friend Mimi for taking the picture.

I love this for the levels it speaks, for the realism of something obviously more conceptual, and the tribal feel of the paint itself. Great job!

reminds me of how much we as artist often bleed emotionally for our art. Specially when we get a bad critique on something we made with so much passion. 
Idk I just really love the imagery that this picture brings about.
On that note that ugly gray carpet its just ewky 
I'd photoshop it and replace it or something. It takes away from the beauty of the piece.

This is true.
It's actually a gray blanket. I like it because it's such a neutral color, and really brings the attention to what I'm photographing, rather than the background so much.... It keeps me from having the need to photoshop the backgrounds out of everything. lol

hmmm I see your point. Definitely a neutral color helps in that sense. Maybe try white instead of grey, so you can get some light to bounce around and give your photos some extra life. Photographers use it constantly and for people like me that can't afford the professional stuff,a roll of white paper or a white sheet does the trick.XD
I think all your photos with this subject are actually incredible and have such amazing potential. Its just something I can totally see becoming famous in the devArt community. Personally I haven't seen it done before. O.0
Also im sorry for the long and winded suggestion XD. I just really like emotive pieces like this one.

No, I totally understand! But being the happy little goth that I am, the only thing I have a lot of that's white, is printer paper. lol When I have random money to blow on a white sheet, though, I'll probably do so.

Agreed, but since this is over an awesome blanket, I wouldn't want to ruin it. Maybe when I get rainbow scarves, I can play with the effect that way.

Yeah, I see that too, but I kind of like the idea that it's been there long enough to dry that way. It was also cheaper, and cleaner this way... And I'm a poor college student. lol
