I've finally started reading Percy Jackson!! i'm only like 7 years late, no biggie...This is not-so-obviously (sorry for my handwriting) Percy, Annabeth and Grover. There's two of each of them because even though i've only read until the end of sea of monsters and they're still 13, i wanted to draw them older as well. Heck i've probably got them wrong but right now i'm thinking their aged 16+ versions will look something like those there.
I'm hooked on these books, i've already drawn Luke, Clarisse, Tyson and even Thalia who's literally said like 3 lines so far, that is how much i love these characters. SOON I SHALL DRAW THEM ALL!!!
Sorry for all the inactivity lately I've turned into a proper student and my average day is now sleep-work-eat-sleep-sleep-sleep, but i'm getting more used to it again and i find i'm drawing more outside of college so HUZZAH there should be more activity her now!
If you follow me on tumblr you might know that at the moment i'm doing a dystopia project in college, WHICH I'M TOTALLY BUZZIN ABOUT because my character Alley - her story and world is dystopian, so i can basically just draw that out for college - the line between personal work and work work has been blurred and i'm LOVING IT! >8D. so i will have SH*TLOADS of stuff to upload to both here and my tumblrrr> [link] in the near future
i am definitely more active on tumblr at the moment because most things i am doing are just short and quick sketches, but i've got my full photoshop now so some overdue trades and pressies for people are on the way here

PS. i don't know why i made Annabeth's symbol is a sun, i remember reading somewhere that a symbol for athena was the sun, but then a guy i know who's never read the books but knows about greek mythology thought she was daughter of helios so the sun is a bit out of place

yeah i agree, i actually saw the movie first and thought it was kind of good - like just because of the idea and i liked the characters and all the greek gods and stuff, but no i've read the books and i'm just like "DUDE whut, the movie was totally different"

YES actually i really liked Logan Lerman as Percy, i thought he got the character down pretty well and he's a good looking guy to boot
yeah i thought annabeth was off. i mean she got the whole strong independent know-it-all part of annabeth pretty well, but sometimes she was just annoying where i never really felt so annoyed at annabeth's character in the books. Plus annabeth is blonde but character is more important, so at least they didn't just cast some blonde girl because she looked perfect when they can't pull of strong smart and independent at all. 
LOL DON'T EVEN BOTHER it's that bad lmao. i mean jackson rathbone is in it as sokka and i thought he would be pretty good and the actors all look good enough, i just think they were directed wrong (honestly i know that's a lot to assume but yah, pretty sure they were told to act that way because i've seen interviews with just them being them and they actually seem like almost perfect for the characters) so yeah it's all kind of reserved and emotionless and just not good compared to that lovely bubbly animation and awesome characters in the cartoon.
