Get your own animal portrait: Animal Portraits - (POINT-) Commissions

Finally. Fiiiinally ._____________. Four months this picture layed, started, on my desk. Once it started to look good, it somehow blocked my motivation. Or well, I was motivated to continue but stopped so often very quickly again, after an hour or so, because I seemed to be afraid to ruin it. Which I actually do not know from me normally. Hope this will be away next time again.
It is Miahii 's absolutley beautiful dog Vegas, whose soft, long fur I tried to copy as realistic as possible. If you like it, please note me, so that we can talk about paying and shipping and so on. ^^

Medium are colored pencils, Polychromos. Time? Something crazy over thirty hours, I'm sure. (Which was another reason for me to take so long breaks; it seemed never to end Working for two hours and somehow still only one ear is a third done can get annyoing x3 ). Used some nice, thick paper, which makes the whole thing all in all better I think. ^^ The wonderful reference picture was provided by Miahii of course.

So many words... but four months contain a lot of realisations... such as raising the prices strongly. Already doubled them, but this won't be enough, not after this one (no worries, all who already ordered still get the old prices. ). This must sound mad to your ears, but finishing this means a lot to me... So much time passed and I already started to mistrust myself / my abilities / my damn power of self-assertion. I did it - and it is like a new start. Hopefully. xD
