Two started projects finished in two days... what's wrong with mee
This one was really funny. To some extent. My brother always wants a picture to his birthday, which actually is quite honoring, but since his birthday is at one of the worst times of the year, where all birthdays and all exams and all other shit come together, this one has much delay, but my family should get slowly used to that. I saw Falln-Stock 's stock photo and knew I had to work with it. The thing was, just painting it in acrylics would have been boring, and my brother badly wanted to get a canvas, which excluded the possibility of biros. So I tried around a bit and suddenly came to the following media; you see small cut pieces of different fabric, which I found in our cellar, glued with a thick layer of liquid adhesive onto the canvas.

The less funny part were the thousand breaks I needed to do and the open windows when sleeping, though it was freezing outside (last night *coughs*), because otherwise the vapours of the glue tried to kill me.

You know this phrase, that things have to get worse before they can get better? This fits so very much to this picture; the sketch looked okay, but once I started, everything was just a mess. The reason for this is that I looked from a too short distance at it. You need to go a bit farer away to see the complete picture. Actually, this is what I appreciate on pictures most; if you see a realistic outcome, but still are able to see how they were done, you see the little details that are responsible for the whole piece.

But enough from this, I have to thank for this super-awesome-cute stock photo, but I resisted to turn this picture around too, since it made the mess too messy.
