Sort of a prequel to this:Sore Spots (Page 1/7)
Effie didn't just randomly decide to go in and take the boo, and as you can see, it followed her out of the caravan, she didn't force them. She had been wandering around the paths in the forest near the Nook when she met them first. Hadi began to sneak fruits out to it, feeding the grumpy little thing until it seemed to gain some trust of her. Soon, the two were causing mischief all over.
The boo didn't like the idea of being a pet. They didn't like Kalypso because of it, or at least pretended not to. Hadi treated them more like an equal in their schemes, which they seemed to like a lot more than Kalypso's attitude, but they kept going back to her because Kalypso fed them and took care of them.
The day in Sore Spots was the day Hadi finally decided to risk taking the boo into the Nook with her. So, she distracted Kalypso, then she went into the caravan, had a short exchange with the boo, then they snuck away just in the nick of time.
And now Hadi has a companion! (Not a pet, mind you! They do what they please!)
