here's maharu's folder and akima's for their stories up to now!

Stupid Fuyune.... Idiot! I wasn't trying to say I had a crush on her, jeez, I just wanted to know if she and Natsumi would study with me. Stupid, always jumping to conclusions....

Akima was irritated, to say the least, that Fuyune didn't even hear him out. Sure, Ms. Alice's classes might not have been so hard for some people, but Akima always had trouble focusing and it was easier for him to study in small groups. Because of how protective Fuyune had been getting over Natsumi recently, though, it was difficult to even ask for assistance with his homework. It wasn't even like Akima copied Natsumi's directly! ... Most of the time! But Fuyune's parents had apparently been going on and on about some stupid thing over "boys your age" or some crap like that.

He was too busy sulking as he paced the halls of the nook to notice someone else turning the corner, looking up at the last second only because he noticed the white paws on the floor in front of him. The other gro seemed lost in thought, too, enough so that when Akima's head perked up, it knocked right into his chin, making him bite his tongue and Akima topple to the ground when he jerked backwards.

Maharu rubbed his chin at the point of contact, though the tang of iron in his mouth said that the bitten tongue would probably be more of an issue than the small bruise that might form there. "Sorry," he said to the other wyngling, putting his paws around the other gro's forearm to hoist him back to his feet, despite the swearing a grumbling coming from him. "... Your head okay?"

"What do you mean, is my head okay? It hurts!" Akima snapped, rubbing at the forming bump with both paws now that he was upright. "Chii, damn, I... ugh, that was embarrassing." He forced himself to calm down, reminding himself that it was Fuyune he was mad at, not some stranger who looked like he wasn't having the best day, either. "Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going so I.... Well, you were there. Can we just forget that happened and go on our separate ways?"

"You're Akima, right?" Maharu said instead of responding, suddenly recognizing the other wyngling from Ms. Alice's classroom. Akima, the one who often got scolded for dozing off or was always getting answers wrong when he was called on. "You get distracted a lot, right?"

Though he hadn't meant it in a bad way, more of an observation, Akima seemed to get offended, puffing up in indignation. "What? How do you know that? I'm no-"

"Sorry, that sounded bad," Maharu interrupted calmly, though on the inside he was a bit dismayed to find that he couldn't even direct one simply conversation to go the way he hoped it would. "I was just.... I've noticed you in Ms. Alice's classroom, that's all."

Akima exhaled, once again forcing himself to stay calm. Alright, the dude was just... awkward. Fine, whatever, Akima could deal. "Yeah, so?"

Maharu opened his mouth to speak, then closed it again, shaking his head. "Sorry. It's nothing. I hope your head feels better soon." He skirted around Akima, who froze in place for a moment, unsure how to respond. When he turned around to try to say something, he was watching the gray wyngling round another corner and disappear.

"... Whatever," Akima sighed. That other kid didn't really have anything to do with him. Now, maybe if he went to ask nicely, Natsumi might take pity on him and help him study for the upcoming quiz, no matter how Fuyune protested.
