Always nice to see more Turtle April. I'd have kept her breasts and hair though.

Personally preference I guess. Mona Lisa retained her breasts and hair when she was mutated into a lizard.

Mona Lisa didn't have a plastron. Also, she was created for a relatively childish cartoon (you can't deny that the 80th show had much less logic than comics more recent tv versions)

In all honestly, the only episodes of the 1987 series that I really liked were the Red Sky episodes. The majority of the rest of it was nearly unwatchable. I did like Mona Lisa though. Venus had a pastron and she had breasts. Personally, I always assumed that it had something to do with the mutation giving them a more humanoid structure.
Some believe that a mutant turtle would not have hair or breasts regardless of whether or not they were once human. Others reckon they would have breasts regardless of what they started as, but would only have hair if they were once human. And a third category believe they would lose their hair with mutation but keep the breasts. To each their own I guess.
Still, nice drawings, BTW.

True, however, some believe that since she was originally human she would retain these mammal traits. Mona Lisa from the 1987 series started off as a human and when she turned into a lizard she still had boobs and hair. Of course, then there's Venus who had breasts regardless of the fact that she was once an ordinary turtle. It really depends on the artist I guess.

Yes, I agree with you that it has to do with the artist, It's only my opinion on this however that
if she was transformed from her mammal form in to a reptilian form (a Turtle) her breasts and
hair would most likely disappear since her DNA was changed.

Β Lorna these are so beautiful. ;o;Β I don't know how you manage to manipulate copics the way you do, but it literally astounds me every single time<3Β How can you make marker look so natural?Β That, topped off with how nice and clean your lines are I just<333
These are so inspiring. ;u;

Aww thank you! Idk, I guess it's because I practised watercolors a lot and now it's easier for me to use copics the way I do?
Thank you! *u*

pirate-pet In reply to lorna-ka [2013-12-14 18:39:55 +0000 UTC]
Oh I could definitely see that, then, with the watercolors. :' D Β Do you ever use a brush and water to manipulate the copics (or does that not work well with the paper)? Β Sorry if I'm being nosy- you don't have to divulge your secrets aha. xD Β I can't use watercolor or copic for the life of me, so it's all very fascinating. *v*

lorna-ka In reply to pirate-pet [2013-12-15 06:34:17 +0000 UTC]
Nope, I don't use anything like that. With my copic drawings I only use a pencil for a sketch, then copics for coloring, then a blackΒ sketching pen (0.1mm)Β for lines and a white gel pen for accenting some minor details.Β
And you're not being nosy at all, feel free to ask me anything! <3

Ahh okay!!Β That's so awesome that you can just color like that- but then, I guess it would be more similar to painting, right? And you've already got a major eye for color haha. ; )Β Ahh you're so kind ;u;Β Thank you for enlightening me!!
