Well.. nothing, I guess? I didn't use any special technique, I just tried to blend the colors as I usually do with watercolors.. I can try to make something like a tutorial if you'd like (and if I have time for it)

No, it's okay!ย I know how to use Copics, but I'm just curious how you came to understand lighting and why you made your color selections.ย Did you do a lot of life drawing, or practice lighting, or are you just doing what seems to make sense to you?

Well, I practiced a bit of life drawing (watercolor naturemorts and such) in art school for children when I was 11-13. So I have a basic understanding of how lightning and coloring works but I can't say that I use that knowledge often when drawing in cartoonish style. As you've said, I mostly do "what seems to make sense" (:ย

thanks. Well, they are cute in the show too, aren't they? Plus, they're 15 year old boys, practically children, they'll toughen up with time. These portraits is just one interpretation.ย
Also, I visited your page, you have a nice dynamic style and interesting ideas, but the low contrast of your images and giant watermarks make it really hard to look though your gallery, maybe you should consider editing your pics a bit before uploading them so it would be easier to see what you've drawn.ย

i grew up with the tmnt. like the old show compared to now.as a matter of fact. all 80s ย cartoons shows where so cool.while growing up.i miss those days.
so here i am trying to keep drawing alive with my style.as everything that is seen isnt all.this to those, wondering were the magic come from.well thats the 80s creative.
also thanx for your insight.will indeed modify.just dont know when.but ill get there.this project is in its begin phase.so any ย sketches i make.will go right towards my page.
and at the moment i am working on the story.i am 7 issues in from the main theme.and still working.will give a brighter conclusion on this matter mid next year.thanx again as i bid you farewell.
