I did this after I discovered Encyclopedia Dramatica, but now I laugh about it. Psh. Referenced from a picture, Photoshop, my main character Makea.Makea is (c) me.

ED is a site that ridicules everyone. They don't stop with just gays and furries on DA, they also target tracers and all around drama-whores. If you do your research, you'll learn that they're equal opportunity haters. Take a joke, or don't go on the site. Btw, all you're doing right now is bringing negative attention onto yourself. Also, you talked about how ED "cut down a person's character." Everyone mentioned on the DA portal brought it on themselves.

I understand that it pokes fun at some artists who deserve it, and some of it is done out of humor. But there are also parts that mock and debase artists who don't deserve it, in my opinion. They also tend to produce more flamers who badger artists until they leave. That kind of abuse is what I find intolerable.

That I have no power over, I think first before I troll, every site gets crappy bulk users sooner or later, take those badger trollers, they're probably just some 13-14 year old who takes the whole raiding, legion, anonymous thing seriously, when in fact, it's a joke. There are also people who try to use ED as their own personal army by making an article on their enemies. Everything gets dirty, you just need to clean it.

Uh, news flash, it's a SATIRE website! The "anti-furry" articles were probably contributed to by furries wanting to parody themselves. Same with the other "hate articles".

I have nothing against ED. They seem to have a very intolerant outlook on the world, but reading all the different articles about deviantart proved to me that they don't actually believe half of what they say. The site simply finds the flaws of the internet and pop culture and parodies it to an offensive extreme. I feel that any deviatartist that manages to get a page there probably deserved it. After all, most of the 'lulz' come from their own intolerance or retorts against ED.

I gotta say - I was initially confused as to why this showed up when I searched Encyclopedia Dramatica - reading the comments showed why.
The problem you're all having is that you don't realize one simple thing: like godhatesgoths.com, Maddox's "The Best Page in the Universe" and many other pages like them - Encyclopedia dramatica is entirely a spoof. None of the shit they say is actually serious, or it would have been shut down years ago. Encyclopedia Dramatica's creators have a creed that on their site, they will badmouth anything that doesn't directly praise them or injur Wikipedia.
Once you realize that they're just taking the piss, the site becomes much funnier.

There sole reason for creating such a site is to cause drama as the previous commenter mentioned, and if we succumb to it by .. well, getting angry and dramatic, well, their job have been done and they will continue.. When ED is talking about homosexuality or furry...dom? ism? or racism or whatever, they're for the most part not serious. The whole point is to try and get big reactions out of people... for an example check out the page on the artist called 'Lando'... the whole point is to incite drama. Hence the name. :3
