disconnected tokens compile themselves intoconstant reminders of expansive and tangible despair....
it's been a while since i have done something dark...just an experiment born of ruminations of weimar.

I agree; it's hard to know the intended emotions. To me that's what makes striking, evocative photos like this so powerful. I never would have guessed the orchid symbolism was meant to reflect a rejection of life and beauty in a composition where the subject is so full of both. Great work!

Its beautiful, the compositions works nicely, the tone adds impact to the dark feelings that are being portrayed. nice use of the orchids. My crit on this, you are floating, one foot it highly noticable, which in return makes the image look a little off. IMHO. But the curves of your body work great, forming almost a infant like shape. Nice work.

The concept is quite gripping... and heartbreaking. You've certainly created a powerful atmosphere and I think the tone really adds to that. There's something about the composition I don't like though... can't put my finger on it. But then again, maybe that uneasy feeling goes with the theme as well.
