Description
Emprisioned by circumstance,Tortured by desire,
She waits with impatience for the end,
for the beginning.
Where are you? she silently screams.
It does not matter, for you are here...
In her soul, her eyes, and her tomorrow.
I am not really into the self-portraiture thing, but i am sick and am to antsy to concentrate on much, but mawkish emotions. Cleansing the soul through art is liberating. So here I am, unvieled.

here I am, unveiled.
Yet you are veiled. Is this symbolical or am I just overthinking again?
You are one of the best photographers in this community. And you are very pretty.

nice self-portraiture
it has a potential of creating many many messages in my mind, in particular with the way you've titled it in combination with the way you've wrapped the scarve around your head,
but i shall refrain from getting into it here... just the way the image speaks to me i suppose

Great pic, great colours, really cool! I don't know, that blue veil reminds me of Mary from the bible as I imagined her as a child. Hope you don't mind

It is a very nice picture in terms of composition and everything else. Was there somone helping you with focusing? How do you focus a self portrait so accurately?

i love the colours, the eyes and blue veil particuarly, the tones are very subtle (skin tones that is) and the contrast between the veil and skin is great, the lighting is flawless too...
the backround; is it made out of focus in photoshop or did you use a long lense? do you use digital or a ''traditional'' camera? (sorry for the questions iam just curious about your setup...).
Timos.

I use a fuji s2 pro, which is a 6.17 mp digital slr mostly.
the reason the shawl is out of focus is because this is shot with at f2.8 with a 100mm macro and the focus was on the eye region. the lighting was natural with one light gold reflector.
i also use a nikon n80, a variety of filters...i live in photoshop and am currently experimenting with alot of different techniques that look like cross processing or muted oversaturation.
hope this helps
