I love the energy of this shot....quirkiness and humor are two of my favorite things to capture or create in photos....The technical details of this shot were fun....I couldn't have done it without Greg, my studio manager and umbrella model, Kristen, the other model and Justin, my assistant....
High production can be so much fun!!!! ...but it can also be a serious pain in the ass.

How was this done? I'm seriously curious. Is this all one photo or were two photos manipulated? were the models shot while laying on the ground then superposed on this background? there are no shadows... I'm puzzled!

SUPERB!!! wow that is just perfect shot! WELL i can be extremely pick and point at the hard shadow behind the umbrella, but i'd have to be REALLY picky then

a lot of work for such a shot--it's incredible and worth it. your work is always incredible. you should never think elsewise.
keep up the most incredible work. you have a nice range of different types you produce. i love an artist who can have serious images and fun images--makes for a nice well rounded artist.

Hey, great shot! It's very reminisent to the photo Philippe Halsman took of Dali back in the 40's, the one where everything is in the air including Dali.
I love the movement here. I would love to have seen the whole film reel from this shoot as it looks so much fun!
