I love the energy of this shot....quirkiness and humor are two of my favorite things to capture or create in photos....The technical details of this shot were fun....I couldn't have done it without Greg, my studio manager and umbrella model, Kristen, the other model and Justin, my assistant....
High production can be so much fun!!!! ...but it can also be a serious pain in the ass.

Great choice on the B/W, it certainly looks like this comes out of a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie. And like you already mentioned yourself, there's a lot of energy in this picture.

I love the flow in this - a hint of humour with quirkness as you've said - the atmosphere suits perfectly in black and white. I love the classic outwear of the models and the posh umbrella

How you did this, I have NO clue. Everyshot I try to capture of someone in mid air, their hair is messed up. It has a very Singing in the Rain meets Marry Poppins feel to it. The curves of the girl and the way she is holding herself is just perfect. I am faving this for the sheer mechanics involved in the subject matter
