Schmoopity-schmee, I made a WALL-E OC. I was originally not planning to do this, but I did. If the Axiom is a cruise ship, then it just HAS to have a dance club by my universal laws of fun, so I decided to imagine what it would be like if it did. D-J here is what sort of robot I think you’d see in it. I’ve got some facts to dump as well.

- D-J stands for “Disc-Jockey.” I wanted to keep it simple.

- D-J units can be used for multiple purposes. They can entertain you in your room, they can play calm nursery music for the babies to help them sleep, and they can be your source of music for an event of any occasion. (They’ll play sad music for a funeral if you need them to.)

- You can play a CD on their turntables, or you can listen to the radio by pushing these buttons on the back of their heads. You can’t do both at once, though.

- D-J units don’t just play music. They can also talk and sing. On the bottom of their heads, they have a little triangular mouth thing that makes them look even more like they’re singing the words.

- When two or more D-J units sing together, they can harmonize very well.

- No matter how many units are singing, they WILL sound discordant and extremely unsatisfying if you don’t tune them right.

- A defective D-J unit is tuned okay, but he can’t sing as well as he should by certain standards. He jumps through certain keys and tempos before he eventually gets to the right ones. It’s probably because he wasn’t tuned well enough, or there’s something wrong with his tuning system.

- D-J units are commonly spotted in the ship’s dance club, playing music for however long it’s open.

- The sound bars on the sides of their “headphones” actually move to the beat.

- They are some of the only robots on the ship who can speak in full sentences; you can program them to say whatever you need them to in different situations.

- For what the D-J units sound like, I couldn't decide which voice claim was better.
