A red tail hawk with a squirrel.I don't normally share my hunting photos on Deviant Art, but I'm excited to say this photo of mine was chosen to be featured as the back cover of the next issue of the North American Falconry Assoc magazine.

I would love to know when it does come out. I would like to get a copy of it. I am trying to make sure I can get to the NAFA meet next year.

Ok I think it will be in April or May. I hope to go to NAFA again this year, it was so much fun last year and I really want to see the hunts on upland game they have in Kansans.

Yeah I'll bring my bird along. I plan on trapping a new red tail next season. If you have a bird when the NAFA meet comes around you should defiantly bring it along too.

As long as I manage to trap one, I definitely will. I am hoping to try to get an out of state trapping permit in PA and trap there.

No, I'm going to release the red tail I have now here soon.
That would be neat to try and get an out of state permit, then you wouldn't have to wait to trap.

Yeah I not sure what PA's out of state trapping permit laws are. I know when we went to Texas they cost $300. Some of the out of state people were trying to trap wild Harris Hawks and Prairie Falcons.

I need to look it up or call them to make sure I can do it. It would be really neat to trap a wild Harris someday. I would love to see a family group in the wild!
