xx. ipl: iavas reference sheet v1.0.0designed and compiled in photoshop elements 8.0
Okay, I'm done working on this for a bit. I think all the core information has been included, and if not I can go back and edit at a later date. Any additional information about some of the technicalities of Iavas's character can be read below.
Thanks to everyone who offered their input on the wip sheet I posted! It was very useful~

The domestic ninetales (and its previous form, vulpix) is the most frequently sighted breed of ninetales seen in the possession of trainers. Not found in the wild, the domestic breed stems from many years of carefully breeding desirable traits in the vulpix line by professional breeders. As a result, domestic ninetales are known for their striking appearance and full manes and tails. The mane and collar fur of the females is smaller and less full than that of the males, but both sexes have much fuller tails in comparison to a wild-caught ninetales. They are also typically devoid of all markings with the exception of darker-tipped tails.
Domestic ninetales are also known to be a bit larger than their wild brethren, and typically have a more desirable temperament. Wild ninetales are known for being skittish, wary, and very elusive, while domestic vulpix and ninetales have been bred specifically for the taming trade and typically adapt very well to a human companion. They also seem to have much more controlled supernatural capabilities, and a domestic ninetales "cursing" a human is a very rare if not unheard of occurrence. Rather, this trait seems to be present solely in wild-caught ninetales. This is a fortunate circumstance, as the absence of this trait in the domestic breed prevents any mishaps should a young child startle a family's "pet" by tugging on one of its large, fluffy tails.
Due to the limited breeding pairs typically available to the average breeder, mutations in the resulting young tend to appear with certain combinations. As a vulpix, Iavas was seemingly devoid of any such mutations, however, upon her evolution into a ninetales, it became apparent that there was some small abnormality in the genes affected by the elemental radiation of the fire stone.
This mutation was, fortunately, purely aesthetic. Iavas's fur did not fully lighten in some areas, which resulted in residual vulpix "boots" on her front legs, darker inner ears, and splotchy orange tail tips. This mutation, while small, does disqualify Iavas from participating in the more elitist species-specific pokemon showings frequently attended by breeders, but she has had no problems participating in the more traditional contests sponsored by coordinators.

Ahhh, this looks so neat! I love how sleek this ref sheet is, and Iavas just looks awesome~
All the info is pretty interesting too; I like how you bring more realistic breeding aspects into the breed's traits as well as her own design.

Thanks!
And yeah, I like adding a bit of a realistic touch to it =3 There are a couple of pokemon species that I have a few different breeds developed for already, and it's a really fun aspect to explore xD

Thanks! Though there was absolutely no skill involved in the text effects xD It was just a matter of clicking a couple of buttons in the layer effect area of Photoshop, lol.
