We all know this will never happen. Plus I got a theory on why.

Celestia, Luna, (And now Flurry Heart) were born Alicorns. So they got it in their blood to remain immortal. 

Myself and Cadence only earned the title of Alicorns, by doing something extremely right.

Relax, there is nothing to worry, this will not happen, as a friend he read by Twitter of some of the people who work in the series (including Meghan McCarthy) have said very clearly that no immortality it will go into Twilight and she will never leave her friends.
