Whilst away at OHHT 2014- oakhollowd.deviantart.com/jour…-and living in tents and the horse boxes, this is how Gareth and Khi determine who's turn it is to do the washing up!
Everyone else usually just stands back and places bets on the outcome!
You know this will end in tears.

I don't know who I'd put my bet on, both look fiercely determined and aren't the sorts to give in easily, but perhaps Gareth just has the edge - that's his lead rope arm and he has to handle Meredith so it'll be stronger than the other one!

Gareth would win, but only just! You have to remember that Khi is an archer and that's her draw arm!
Gareth spends his days hurling hay bales around, and those things are heavy -I can hardly lift one with both hands- so he is very strong due to intense manual labour.

Ahh, yes, I forgot about real archery being so physical, when I played with home made bows and arrows they didn't take a lot of pulling (or go very far/fast, heh)
When I used to handle small hay bales a lot I could lift one above my head, but now we have the big rolls of hay so I haven't lifted a normal bale for years, I bet I couldn't get it higher than my waist now!
