Entry for the Oak Hollow Horse trials (OHHT) [link]
For Havillands Stables, Havillands Meredith and Gareth Evans.
Here's The Boys at Oak Hollow in the In Hand class, they are in a quiet corner of the collecting ring, awaiting the call for the class.
Gareth has the Havillands alternative livery on, the quartered shirts are fine for cross country and informal events but In hand showing requires the handlers to look as smart as the horses, hence the tie, waistcoat and decent shirt.
Gareth is having a word with Meredith about show technique and behaviour, (behaviour not being Meredith's strong point!) It looks like everyone has had a go at grooming Meredith as his coat is particularly shiny and his feathers are gleaming white. I have a feeling that Meredith has had his coat shampooed and conditioned with the very expensive salon shampoo that Jenny has hidden in the bathroom- well, it had been hidden, until Gareth unearthed it in the airing cupboard when he was looking for a good warm quiet place to leave the latest batch of home made wine that he and John were fermenting.
Bunny is looking on admiringly as he quite fancies having a shiny coat too, however he isn't too good at having baths!
