Warning: It's a pretty big file!This is kind of a follow up to ... I'm not sure what I'm doing here, but I think I'm slowly building a series of Hetalia drawings based on different surveys xD Anyway, when I found this list of the horniest countries in the world, I just couldn't help myself.

- And those results are based on a survey by condom maker Durex so the accuracy is debatable.
I didn't draw the moon and star in Malaysia's flag nor did I draw the icons on China's flag or the icon on Brazil's. Those a copy-paste icons 'cause I got incredibly lazy and I figured it would be impossible for me to draw Brazil's icon properly xD

I haven't posted anything here for a while and thought it was finally time for me to be a bit active again. Which means I've postponed some VERY important homework. My teacher told the class if we didn't turn in the last assignment in time, he would drop us an entire grade when it comes to our year mark. My average mark don't want that!! And my assignment is already coming in late D:! Hopefully he won't do anything if I get it done by tonight (though it's very unlikely -_-')
More irrelevant information: my back is KILLING me! I started sketching the last of this drawing last night (also got some actual lineart down), and when I woke up this morning, I nearly hadn't gotten out of bed because of my back... And then I did the best thing to do when your back hurts after having drawn almost the entire night - I began drawing AGAIN. I've drawn the entire day today and now my back is seriously... dead... I should start sitting somewhere else when I'm drawing xD! This happens every damn time.
By the way, can you guess what Brazil was doing since we weren't able to get a connection to him ;D?

That's hilarious! As a guy; I don't really like yaoi, but all of it was used as jokes; there weren't any depictions of any acts, and with some of it being implied; it made this one not sick to his stomach. Though the fact that you have Italy and Romano as an implied....ugh. As an Italian-American; I do take pride in my heritage. But do you really have to imply incest? I don't take any offense to that; but incest is never funny.

Hehe, this was in no way intended as a yaoi portrayal. I guess some of the implications just couldn't be helped 'cause I thought they were so obvious. I'm happy you could look past those few implications. Especially because many of them weren't meant as implications. Like Poland and Lithuania for example. Lithuania always submits to Poland so that's just how it is. Unfortunately, they are both men so the comment in the Poland panel will always sound so yaoi-fixated no matter how you look at it -_-'
Incest is NEVER funny! But... there no Romano/Italy in this. It's not even implied o.O? They're only standing together because they are both a part of Italy and didn't want to choose one of the other. It's not 'cause it's supposed to look like they are together in a sexual relationship

Oh. Well; you could find some female versions of the countries that you can have them standing together with. Yeah; but the thing about art is that it's open to almost any interpretation.

I'm not gonna say I would NEVER draw any of the male Hetalia characters as women, but it's not very likely it's ever gonna happen. I enjoy the characters as Hidekaz Himaruya created them. Wouldn't wanna change their gender.
Of course it is, but the artist often has an opinion of his/her own work. If people want to look at this as a yaoi pic, they are free to do that. But I myself never intended to do that. I just tried "keeping them in character" and make some canon jokes. Hidekaz Himaruya chose that the characters should be men and so they are. Can't do much about that so many jokes will always be yaoi-ish. At least it's difficult to avoid. It's a shame. Because he made almost every character male and keeps implying yaoi in the series, I guess it will be mostly girls who would want to watch Hetalia D:

Yeah. I'm one of the few guys who does. But it's really for the comedy. And as far as Germany and Italy; I can see more of a bromance then a yaoi relationship. And I know what would actually happen if something like that even would come up.
I imagine that Germany would try to dominate Italy with that; and I imagine Italy NOT going with it, and instead; trying to make a run for it. I know his type; hits on a lot of women, probably disgusted at even the idea of that with another man.
And frankly; I know that by surrounding both brothers with women would probably help a bit. I know that would really make it stand out

Well, I find Hetalia incredibly entertaining at times and I'm sure more guys would like it as well if there weren't so many yaoi-ish jokes in it.
Of course you do. Only insane yaoi fangirls can't help but look at their relationship as a romantic relationship. And I agree with the Italy thing. And if Italy ever tried anything with Germany, he would snap his neck. Or at least torture him xD Macho guys like Germany rarely like the idea of to men being together, lol xD But I don't mind the yaoi fangirls either. If people like yaoi, it's fine with me. If people don't, it's fine with me too. When I decide whether or not I like a movie/series, I judge the contents of the story. The story itself, the character development, how the story unfolds and so on. I would never like a show solely because there's a cute couple in it. Too boring.

You really wanna go there? I'm proud of my hair, and I know not to even let mine be near another girl's of similar length when I'm around my family with her. I don't want them getting any ideas. It's hard enough being the only male in my generation of the family; but when you're also dealing with a 3:1 Female-to-male ratio, you gotta be careful.

yeah. and thanks. It's just, I don't need my nine-year-old cousin braiding my hair and my girlfriend's hair together when we cuddle. If that were to happen, my Aunt Lisa will think it's so cute. If it wasn't for the fact my girlfriend has dark red hair and I have black hair, unbraiding us would be impossible. I know that she wants to try it too. She wants to see her oldest cousin have a story-book wedding; when her oldest cousin and his girlfriend happen to both be 18, and with plans of getting higher education.

When you're a guy; you're kinda pressured to find love and marriage. There's a major double standard to when men date as to when women.
And I know that. She usually is; she's an angel compared to the other four. I have to babysit them a lot. I know that my girlfriend doesn't want us to marry quite yet either. But when you're the only male in your generation of the family; the pressure is pretty high from the rest of your family.

You should add that it depends entirely on culture. - Hopefully that's what you meant. It's not like that here at all. I guess it's the mix of Italian and American that's the reason for this pressure? Well, perhaps mostly the Italian origins.
Well, I hope she will be ready someday and that you will be too so you can get over the pressure thing and just marry solely because you love each other and feel it's the right thing to do

We do. We've been together for five years next Tuesday. It's just that we know for the purpose of economics that it's not wise at our age. Plus; I don't really have a way to provide for her yet. I'm going to be graduating high school in two weeks. It'll be really hard to be able to provide when you yourself are still a student. I know that if I was to marry her right now; I wouldn't be able to. We both are going to have to do the meal plans at the university. But we love each other more than simple words can even begin to describe. I know that when I get work as a graphic designer, I'll be able to provide for her; and then we'll be able to tie the knot. If all goes well; maybe we can bring that old Italian Wedding Traditon back. I think it's absolutely beautiful. And Black and Red are two very great colors for modern design. I think the wreath would look absolutely beautiful.

I obviously know how hard it can be to provide for yourself when you're still a student, but I guess I shouldn't complain since I'm payed to go to school :/ I just still can't imagine anyone who would wanna marry when they are still that young.
